Tai Tae-ia Shrine is a Chinese shrine situated on Ruangrat Road inMuang district. It was built over a century ago by Hokkien settlers inRanong in honour of Tai Tae-ia, a priest who was a Chinese emperor’sdoctor. Many people visit the shrine to worship the statue of Tai Tae-ia,pray for happiness, fortune or children or to seek healing form illnesses.
