ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวประจำท่าอากาศยานดอนเมือง ได้รับแจ้งจากเจ้าหน้าที่การท่าอากาศแห่งประเทศ ว่าพบชายชาวญี่ปุ่น นำเครื่องยุทธภัณฑ์ เป็นแมกกาซีนของปืนเอ็ม 16 ขึ้นเครื่องบิน ปลายทางที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่นทั้งนี้ จากการตรวจสอบพบว่า ชายชาวญี่ปุ่นกำลังจะเดินทางออกจากสนามบินดอนเมือง เพื่อไปยังประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดยนำกระเป๋าสัมภาระผ่านเครื่องเอ็กซ์เรย์ ปรากฏว่าเจ้าหน้าที่เจอแมกกาซีนปืน ขอตรวจสอบ พบแมกกาซีน และเครื่องยุทธภัณฑ์ต่างๆจำนวนมาก สอบสวนเบื้องต้นชายชาวญี่ปุ่นให้การว่า ซื้อของทั้งหมด มาจากเมืองโฮจิมิน ประเทศเวียดนาม เป็นลักษณะของเก่าสะสม เพื่อนำกลับไปสะสม แต่ไม่ทราบว่าผิดกฎหมายของไทย ทั้งนี้ จากการตรวจสอบเบื้องต้นยุทธภัณฑ์ ทั้งหมดอยู่ในสภาพที่ไม่สามารถใช้การได้ ทั้งนี้เจ้าหน้าที่ควบคุมตัวดำเนินคดีตามกฎหมายต่อไป A Japanese man was arrested at DonMueang airport yesterday after severalfirearm parts and a disarmed anti-personnelmine were found in his bag ashe was about to board an aircraft home,authorities said.Takeru Hirano, 27, an engineer, wasdetained by airport security officers afteran X-ray of his luggage at the airportdetected several pieces of what appearedto be parts of firearms.An examination revealed 13 emptyM16 magazines, eight empty AK-47magazines and one empty Claymoreanti-personnel mine case.
