เรือนยอดบรมมังคลานุสรณีย์ สถาปัตยกรรมที่ระลึกเฉลิมพระเกียรติใน 4 มหามงคลวโรกาส โดยเริ่มจาก พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ภูมิพลอดุลยเดช เสด็จขึ้นครองสิริราชสมบัติครบ 70 ปี และ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ ทรงมีพระชนมพรรษาครบ 84 พรรษา โดยพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงทราบฝ่าละอองธุลีพระบาท และทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ พระราชทานชื่อเรือนยอดหลังนี้ว่า “เรือนยอดบรมมังคลานุสรณีย์” อันมีความหมายว่า “สร้างในวาระสำคัญหลายประการ” อีกทั้งยังทรงเลือกสถานที่การก่อสร้างด้วยพระองค์เอง โดยตั้งอยู่บริเวณด้านทิศตะวันออกของพระนั่งอนันตสมาคม ในพระราชวังดุสิต - -add info from PR จารึกเรือนยอดบรมมังคลานุสรณีย์ (ฉบับแก้ไข วันที่ ๒พฤษภาคม ๒๕๕๙) His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej granted royal permission to the Sirikit Institute and the SUPPORT Foundation to commission the construction of a nine-spire pavilion. His Majesty graciously named the building “Borommangalanusarani Pavilion,” which means “a spired-roof pavilion built to commemorate great auspicious occasions.” This Royal Pavilion is built to celebrate the auspicious occasions of the 70th Anniversary of His Majesty the King's accession to the throne on 9 June 2016, and His Majesty the King's 90th birthday anniversary on 5 December 2017, along with the 84th or the seventh-cycle birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on 12 August 2016, the fifth-cycle birthday anniversary of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn on 28 July 2012, the fifth-cycle birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on 2 April 2015, the fifth-cycle birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn on 4 July 2017, and the fifth-cycle birthday anniversary of Princess Ubol Ratana on 5 April 2011. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the Borommangalanusarani Pavilion on June10, 2016 at 5 p.m.
