Apart from the centuries-old transparent Buddha image called Phra Kaew Khao, believed to be contemporary with the Emerald Buddha and Phra That Phra Anon (the white pagoda seen in the distance), the temple boasts a beautiful, well-preserved ho trai built in a pond to protect Buddhist scriptures from termites. Another temple to include on your must-see list is Wat Si Thammaram, which houses the highly revered Phra Suk Buddha image.
