The ubosot (ordination hall) of this temple was rebuilt between 1907 and 1911 in Khmer-influenced style, designed by Prince Narisara Nuvadtivongs. Its interior fresco murals in a neoclassical style were painted by Italian artist Carlo Rigoli, who also created art for the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall. It depicts the Vessantara Jataka, about the Lord Buddha’s last previous life.
