Guru, Eric E Surbano, Published on 26/11/2021

» Video games that are based on extreme sports seem to be scarce these days, a far cry from the days of the PS2 when titles like SSX and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater were common. Ubisoft's Rider's Republic seeks to bring back the adrenaline-filled, death-defying tricks into the lives of gamers. Though there are a few things that could be improved, the game does a great job of making players addicted to the rush of racing downhill at high speeds and could hopefully be the first of many extreme sports titles in the coming years.

» Much like the iPhone 13, the Apple Watch Series 7 at first glance doesn't look radically different from its predecessor. However, once you get to use it, there are a couple of new features that set it apart from the previous model. The question though is whether it's a worthy upgrade.

» The console wars have raged on since multiple consoles came on the scene and the question of "which is the best console?" has been asked on forums and argued at gaming conventions for years. When more isn't better

Guru, Eric E Surbano, Published on 27/08/2021

» Adding too much to something can make it overly complicated and almost unenjoyable whether it's putting too much salt in a dish or stuffing a bunch of superheroes in a movie, who weren't properly introduced in their standalone films (looking at you, original cut of Justice League). In the case of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the base game provides a chunky amount of content, which is mildly enjoyable. But its second expansion, The Siege Of Paris, seems to be an expansion for expansion's sake.

    Same same, not different

Guru, Eric E Surbano, Published on 30/07/2021

» Though Watch Dogs has had three titles under its belt, it's only in the second game's first expansion, Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline, that the protagonist of the first game, Aiden Pearce, returns as a playable character. For those who've played the first title and the main game that Bloodline expands on, it's familiarity with a tinge of nostalgia. But is that a good thing or a bad thing?
