    A swimsuit that really suits

ยป We've come a long way since the full-body swimming costumes of the 1920s and with practically every magazine cover featuring models in bikinis (or something equally revealing) the perception towards swimsuits has changed. Bikinis, which used to attract stares and criticism here, are now a perfectly acceptable choice for beach attire. And "swimwear" no longer means something you don solely for the purpose of swimming, apparently; consumers are now looking for something that is trendy and fashionable, says Sonia Srichawla, managing director of Kyra Mode. Functional swimsuits, like those worn at public pools, are gradually losing out to gorgeous garments which might not even be suitable for actual swimming! But if the intention is to show off your body to maximum effect, for the purpose of photographs, impressing bystanders or whatever, it is important to look your very best and be as self-confident as possible.
