Last but not least, tapas bar Toro Bangkok has a 1,000 baht menu, from which mothers can select five of their favourite hot and cold tapas to enjoy.     » 1 Bangkok has been bombarded with an amazing line-up of concerts this year, and for any rockers out there, American industrial metal band Nine Inch Nails (NIN) will be bringing their explosive set to Bangkok on Aug 14 at Lat Phrao's Moonstar Studio. Known for their dark, intense and ferocious music like The Hand That Feeds, Only and Survivalism, the band has won two Grammy's for Best Metal Performance and have sold over 30 million records worldwide. Their live concerts are hailed as a "musical, visual, emotional sensory onslaught" -- and with sold out stadiums in Paris, London, Amsterdam and Las Vegas, fans in Bangkok shouldn't hesitate to buy tickets.     » 1:Galerie Oasis Bangkok's newest art venue, located above Cinema Oasis (Sukhumvit 43) will be launching today with Piyatat Hemmatat's Eden Part II: An Exhibition Of Bronze Sculptures & Photographs. In continuation of "Eden, Part I", in Charoen Krung's Serindia Gallery, the photographer and contemporary artist explores the concept and idea of banned substances through 3D bronze sculptures. Recreating his own Garden of Eden, Piyatat has moulded Biblical serpents that turn into enticing hands and eyeballs, sprouting serpent hearts, and many more creatures that comprise the mythology of this era. Coming from an urge to organise a small get-together of Bangkok's best cafés, Bangkok Coffee Cult, which takes place until tomorrow, will engage people in the science and culture of coffee. At the grounds of Lhong 1919, baristas from Blue Whale, Casa Lapin, Duck You Caferista and many more will be there to serve some of their newest signature drinks. There will also be tastings of coffee cocktails and activities like coffee pairings. Bangkok Coffee Cult takes place from 11am-7pm at Lhong 1919. Tickets cost 200 baht, and can be traded for a cup of coffee at any participating café.
