ยป There is a long-standing and deep-rooted belief that cabbages are the vegetables that are most heavily dosed with pesticides during their cultivation. This is because in the past the major cabbage-farming area was the mountainous Phu Thap Boek at Amphoe Lom Sak in Phetchabun, where the odour of insecticides was in the air all through the mountains.
