The TJA, however, may have spoken just a little early. The junta-appointed National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) is considering a measure to strip independence from the media and hand intimidation and a strong dose of press control to the government. It would make a mockery of the constitution's guarantee of freedom of the press.
