» The plan to help consumers adapt to digital television broadcasts has taken more turns than a Formula One race circuit. In the latest confusing chapter, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) said it was again changing its plan to alter the value of subsidy coupons from 1,000 baht each to 690 baht. That decision was announced six weeks after the NBTC announced it was changing the value of each coupon from 690 baht to 1,000 baht.
