ยป With a passion for travelling, hotels have always had a special place in her heart for Wimintra Raj. As a child, her parents would take her to hotels where she enjoyed dining at the buffet and was mesmerised by the magical act of having her room looking nice and clean the next day. Today, she owns a factory for hotel uniforms and has partnered with an environmentally-friendly factory in China that produces recycled uniforms, as well as being the founder and editor-in-chief of Hotelintel.co, a business-to-business (B2B) publication. The website serves as a portal for news of all things hotels, hospitality and industry-related investment, and features hoteliers and chefs based in Thailand. A graduate in political science, Wimintra is undertaking a micro master's degree online for hospitality management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As the website turns four this year, it will be hosting a panel discussion at Gaysorn Village on Sep 27 titled 'Communcation that Sells'.
