» Wrong question! The question is why doesn’t the city of Bangkok try to control commercialism from creeping into residential areas. We know the answer: MONEY POWER CP Group, the nice folks who run the 7-Eleven franchise business and many many more businesses such as TRUE, etc is powerful....

» ‘Great idea, however unlike the little hand paddled boats of the past, noise and erosion generated from the bigger boats like what one sees on Klong Saen Saep will be formidable! » Looking at the top of a brand new (but not completed) residential building, as they dismantle the top floor concrete with jack hammers there's obviously something wrong! • DonAleman commented : It seems that every repair renovation, remodeling job, large or small, takes weeks/months and requires that even paint be applied with a hammer. I've lived in 3 different places and spent at least one full year, of 10 here, listening/feeling these constant sounds. Of course he does have a professional team, state of the art equipment and a large building/garage where he does the prefab work.
