» If you're a vinyl diehard in this city, then you probably know of Vinyl Die Hards record store - if not have already busted your bank account there. Located on Srinakarin Soi 44, the shop belongs to 25-year-old Saipin Korpenjawan, who pretty much does everything there, including melting scrap vinyls to save costs on light shades. (True story. Don't forget to look up.) As vinyl enthusiasts ourselves, we were more than thrilled to immerse ourselves in Saipin's world for a good browsing session and chat.

» In Japan, a young person dressed in full traditional kimono in the big city on a regular day is no spectacle. Nor does there need to be a special occasion in India or Bangladesh to don a vibrant saree. So why in a country that far from lacks traditional culture and a city that loves fashion, have we shied away from the beauty and uniqueness of Thai fabrics and traditional style? I mean when was the last time you wore a proper pha nung or chong kraben?
