Anonymous commented : The reason it has to change and things cannot always stay the way they were centuries ago is that Thai people want to progress. They obviously do not want to stay at the life standard of former centuries, to that of a developing country, forever. The bathroom of king Rama V was poorer equipped than almost any of a European lower class person. Prostrating is a personal cult. A gesture that should be, if so, performed toward god(s). In modern culture, humans treat each other as equal. Chinese have treated Mao with personal cult, North Coreans do so with Kim Yong Il, with terrible consequences. Particularly it put and puts them backwards in life standard tremendously. They only get cheated. To put it simple, Thai have cars (Bangkok has too many). One cannot take everything from western cultures, pollute the environment considerably besides, and refuse to practise human rights and equal treatment of humans. In that sense, the often abused dowry system also needs to be abolished. Or do Thai people want to go back to the lifestyle centuries ago? Have a life expectancy of several decades less? Not have a cure for so many infectious diseases?

Anonymous commented : I was working as a wedding consultant in a resort in Phuket. I don't know about Cadadian but if you are British and want to get married in Thailand, you have to contact British Embassy in Bangkok. The hotel can only hold you a wedding ceremony but they can not support you the legal document. By the way, Congratulation

Anonymous commented : You can go to any mosques in Thailand to get married and the mosque will provide you with a marriage certificate. It's very straightforward. They can married you on the day but you can only collect the marriage certificate the next day. Both the bride and the groom have to provide two passport sized photographs each. There's a mosque close to Sofitel Silom Hotel, Bangkok.

Anonymous commented : ke know how to get married in thailand...some suggest that it is better to get married in mosque close to Sofitel Silom Hotel, Bangkok..the suggestion is verry helpfull..it shows that there is still a way to get married some how....but in my side..bangkok is way to far from Bukit kayu hitam in kedah... hence i really want to know about the islamic mariage procedure in sadao..because sadao is close to our country...it helps to reduce the cost to go there;-)and Zack,it is an honour for me to thank u if u can give me the call number of the person or the KADI in charge in this event(mariage)...so that i can make a confirmation with the kadi before i go over there...and last but not least...can u estimate how much money do i need to bring along during the mariage process? eventually, all your cooperation is highly appreciated...may allah bless all of people who help others from being the wrongdoer..thank u..
