» Sophon Cable Company was delighted when Tawee Panwilai (2nd left), 42, asked their assistance in finding the owner of a bag containing 90,000 baht in cash and a personal cheque for 16,000 baht.  Tawee found the treasure trove as he was delivering pork products by motorbike to customers at the Nhongkate intersection. He said that at first he was not sure what to do, but his wife advised him to advertise his find on TV. Local police were called in and they easily found the real owner, whose name and address were on the cheque. The haul was returned to Ruengsak Deeboonchai, a rice seller, who said one of his employees lost the bag whilst on his rounds. A police spokesman said it was gratifying that honest citizens still existed and added that Tawee received a reward.
