    Lost in the dark?

    News, Postbag, Published on 08/02/2018

» Without doubt the Thai public is about to witness an extravaganza worthy of a Disney cartoon epic that will clearly demonstrate the innocence of a magnificently wealthy construction tycoon caught up in a hunting event (BP, Feb 7).

    Democratic justice

    News, Postbag, Published on 13/04/2019

» I wish to thank the 12 diplomats and their respective democratic countries for finally supporting the Thai people. Foreign Affairs Minister Don Pramudwinai's comment, "It's an intervention in our justice system" is a joke. Without a truly democratically elected government there is no justice.

    Noisy riders are relevant

    News, Postbag, Published on 07/10/2018

» Re: "Summary execution", (PostBag, Oct 6). Unfortunately, my letter was cruelly edited to the point that it made little sense. News, Postbag, Published on 20/05/2017

» Not surprisingly the better part of Bangkok flooded during the heavy rain in the early morning of May 16 and it looks like the BMA once again was caught off guard. We live in the Bang Na area just opposite Central City and since the last rainy season ended all the equipment used to pump out water has just been left without any sign of regular maintenance. Suddenly required, the BMA will have to get hold of technicians, required spares, operators, etc.

    Hail and farewell

Life, Bernard Trink, Published on 19/05/2017

» Contemporary historians are predictable -- penning book after book about Atlantis, ancient Rome, the Templars, World War II. But then a few looked at the calendar and the penny dropped. 2017. Isn't this the anniversary of something? Indeed. The Russian Revolution a century ago.

    Seat belt confusion

    News, Postbag, Published on 11/04/2017

    A new crime series

Life, Bernard Trink, Published on 01/06/2015

» Time was when James Patterson penned a crime novel annually. Then semi-annually. Then seasonally. At the rate this reviewer is now receiving them, they seem to be coming out weekly. No sooner do I critique one than the next crosses my desk. Alone and with his team of co-authors, he's clearly on a roll.
