» Thai Heritage Conservation Day is observed every year on April 2, which is also HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's birthday. So in honour of the princess, as well as to mark this special day designated to raise public awareness of the country's artistic, historical and cultural legacy, this year the Fine Arts Department under the Ministry of Culture has arranged a number of activities at museums and historical parks nationwide.
