'Pong-pang' men a dyeing breed

ยป Little middle-aged men pedalling old bicycles with a bucket and stove while twirling a little drum used to be a common sight in Bangkok and other provinces. Now, the pong-pang, pong-pang, pong-pang sound of the drum is rarely heard and people who earned their living by dying clothes like these men seem to have vanished from the streets of many provinces and big cities.
