Remade and reinterpreted around the world for over 50 years, there was no surprise that the comedy, first written by French playwright Marc Camolleti, would eventually land rather fittingly on Thai shores. A playboy juggling three different air hostess fiancées — I'm not altogether sure that someone Thai didn't come up with this plot.

He continuously fiddles with a sugar pot. Up close, he seems wirier than in pictures, and save for the iconic long hair and beard, the 65-year-old Brit on the other side of the table looks nothing like one of the world's most influential billionaires.
