» Whether you are a fan of their music or not, it's almost impossible not to have heard of Paper Planes, the biggest pop-rock duo at the moment. In fact, nobody can really pinpoint exactly the phenomenon surrounding these two guys -- vocalist Tunwa "Hye" Ketsuwan and guitarist Nakarin "Zen" Khunpakdee, and the reason why their single Bad Boy, about a playboy suffering the sadness of unrequited love, has become a pop anthem among Grade 1 students and young children across the kingdom. How streaming is changing film history

Life, Tatat Bunnag, Published on 15/07/2022

» All film students or movie lovers are being called to join in a special lecture titled "Archive Fever: Film History In The Age Of Streaming" -- a talk By Kong Rithdee on July 21 at The Siam Society, Sukhumvit 21. This has prompted the film archives to ponder their function and respond to new ways images and memories are recorded, stored, accessed and democratised by not any specific entity but by humanity as a whole.

» International concerts were absent for much of 2020 as every tour and festival was postponed or cancelled due to the pandemic. While there was not much to look forward to, one ray of hope we had amid the absence of live music was to see the number of artists around the globe covering all genres turning to the virtual world as a new medium to engage with their music fans. They took to social media live-streaming to give fans a much-needed virtual music fix and while the novelty of DIY online concerts filmed in artist's living rooms and home studios via Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube wore off after a few days in quarantine, many musicians and music labels quickly became even more creative in lockdown and evolved a whole raft of innovative and all-round entertaining virtual concerts bringing the new experience of live music into people's homes.
