    » The ride to Mae Rewa forest protection station in Mae Wong National Park, Nakhon Sawan, was bit bumpy, the dirt road uneven, pock-marked with craters all the way. Both sides of the road were dotted with cassava farms. In some of them you could see farmers busy at work, cutting ripened cassava stems into sections about 15cm long, preparing for the next crop that must be planted before the monsoon rain arrives.
