» <p>Pattaya’s civic leaders and 100 Chinese entrepreneurs and managers signed a memorandum of understanding worth 2 billion baht for the hotel and real estate industries. The Chinese are examining new bases to produce goods to overcome rising production costs at home. It’s also expected that the number of Chinese visitors to Thailand will almost double by 2014 to five million per year.</p>
