พื้นที่โรงงานของการรถไฟแห่งประเทศไทยบริเวณมักกะสัน ซึ่งการรถไฟแห่งประเทศไทย (ร.ฟ.ท.) มีแผนจะย้ายไปตั้งโรงงานที่แก่งคอยภายใน 1.6-2 ปี ส่วนพื้นที่ตั้งเดิมบริเวณมักกะสันเนื้อที่ประมาณ 497 ไร่ รวมทั้งที่ดินบริเวณสถานีแม่น้ำ เนื้อที่ประมาณ 277 ไร่ จะให้กระทรวงการคลังเป็นผู้พัฒนาเชิงพาณิชย์ เพื่อแลกกับการยกหนี้สะสมของร.ฟ.ท. ที่มีอยู่ประมาณ 8 หมื่นล้านบาท The picture shows plots of land in the Makkasan area owned by the State Railway of Thailand.
