Six communities with specialised skills in Phra Nakhon and Pomprap Sattruphai districts have survived changes and are being restored through community participation as Bangkok cultural attractions. These six communities are Ban Bat community, which makes alms bowls for monks; Krom Phra Sommut Amornphan Palace community, which produces and sells robes and religious items; Wat Sa Ket community, which makes wooden furniture and coffins; Sitaram community, which has long been a learning centre of Thai boxing and traditional music; Chakkraphatdiphong community, which is well known for its many printing houses and delicacies; and Nang Loeng community, which has been a hub of lakhon chatri theatre troupes.
