Tourism attractions in Singapore Published caption : Walking along many streets in Singapore, one may find various art sculptures. One of the popular places is around Cavenagh Bridge, near the Fullerton Hotel. Located on the bank of the Singapore River, there is a group of small bronze sculptures of cats and a mother watching over her two kittens. The artwork is known as the Singapura Cat, aka Kucinta. The cat is regarded as the Singapore Tourism Board’s mascot. Not far from the cats are the life-size sculptures of five boys playing by the river. Called First Generation, it was created by Chong Fah Cheong, a Singaporean sculptor, in 2000 as part of a series of life-size sculptures of people, lifestyle and activities under the Open Air Interpretative Centre project by the Singapore Tourism Board.
